~ Ebay.com - Photographers! Need a Muse? Lo price! Starting bid only $99! Wow!~

Are you a photographer who is short of inspiration? Are you short of new ideas? Do you need results FAST?! Then look no further…

Your “MUSE” is your inspiration, your Goddess of your photographic Art. Every photographer needs a muse at some point in his career! When you’re a bit dried out, feeling like a soggy teabag, then your problems can be solved by A GENUINE BONA-FIDE MUSE!

Of course you’ve heard the spiel that your muse can’t be bought, that a muse is a living and breathing human being, and that she is a product of “DESTINY”. You’ve listened to folks who tell you that muses can’t be purchased like a vacuum cleaner, that they are much more abstract and mystical. Some companies tell you that your muse will appear in your life at exactly the time she is supposed to appear, for FREE. You know, “meant-to-be”, divine inspiration, and all that bullshit?

But what if fate doesn’t intervene, and you can’t find her? What if your photographic mind is as dull as ditchwater, and you’re in dire need of inspiration and a sense of direction? What if you’re in a dry spell? Well in that case it’s time to :
ORDER A MUSE!!! BUY NOW!!!

Ordering is easy. Click the “BUY NOW” button above on Ebay.com, and we guarantee to supply your tailored MUSE direct from our company headquarters here at FLUFFYTEK MANUFACTURING INC.

DIFFERENT MODELS OF MUSE AVAILABLE! GODDESSES DESIGNED TO YOUR INDIVIDUAL NEEDS!

What will she look like?
You could order the model designed by famous poet Rupert Graves: “A lovely slender woman with a deathly pale face, lips red as rowan berries, startlingly blue eyes and long fair hair”.
However you don’t have to settle for a template. FLUFFYTEK MANUFACTURING Inc allows you to uniquely design your own individual muse, according to your needs and desires. Each model is supplied internet-ready, and can be programmed simply and easily!

CHOOSE YOUR TAILOR-MADE GODDESS AS FOLLOWS:

Summon your muse. Picture her in your mind. Visualise really hard. If you get nothing, then keep at it (Tip: alcohol sometimes helps with the visualisation process). The more you summon your muse, the more readily she will appear. Then complete your order by clicking on the “Buy Now” button.

HOW QUICKLY WILL MY ORDER BE COMPLETED?

FLUFFYTEK MANUFACTURING Inc is very efficient, but please note we are currently very busy, and are regrettably experiencing temporary shortage of materials. As each muse is built to individual design, a small delay may be experienced until your order can be completed and delivered. We hope you appreciate that QUALITY manufacturing takes time.

(All deliveries supplied via UPS. Delivery is dependent on weight of muse but starts at a lo $30. Import taxes to be borne by the customer).

HOW DO I KNOW I’VE GOT THE RIGHT MUSE?

FLUFFYTEK MANUFACTURING INC advises caution. On rare occasions we can sometimes make a mistake, due to malfunction in the order visualisation process, in which case you should re-seal your muse and return her in her original packaging to us within seven days please.

How do you know she’s your genuine article? Well, FLUFFYTEK MANUFACTURING Inc allows you to test her out on a free trial, in order to make sure she’s the real deal.

Tips for Muse-testing:

A real muse will be demanding, challenging and a right royal pain in the ass a fair bit of the time. Of course she is outstandingly beautiful (to you because you designed her), she has a gleam in her eye, she can see straight through your bravado and your bullshit to the essence of the man and artist underneath. A good muse will be strong, confident and she’ll know herself pretty darn well. She will never ever be a fake (if you detect fakery, then the product is defective and must be returned within seven days please.) Remember that your muse will not expect any fakery or possessiveness from you, otherwise the chemistry will be wrong and she won’t perform optimally. She may drive you crazy a lot of the time, but you will love her with a passion (this is absolutely essential. You can’t create real art without the passion. Mutual lust is good too, as this enhances the artistic process.)

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:

When you receive your muse, please verify that she is the genuine product, and you’re happy with the quality. Then you’re ready to begin. She’s standing there, naked and ready for set-up procedure. Your muse is not delivered personal-photographer-ready. She only has a basic start-up routine and must complete a training process (please refer to installation manual at this point). Because each photographer is an individual, you are a blank slate to her – she has to get to know you first, which will take some time.

FLUFFYTEK MANFUCATURING Inc recommends that you buy her some nice things (something shiny and expensive – Tiffany’s recommended for optimum performance), feed her what she loves, ply her with some good wine, talk to her gently, and talk some more, and then again and again, long into the night, until you’ve bared your very soul. Keep going until she’s sucked you dry and there’s nothing left. Only then can you be free to open up to your potential, be inspired to Art. Talking is the key to good musedom. Only then can you pick up your camera and create amazing and innovative results!

YOUR STATUTORY RIGHTS:

Of course you have full statutory rights regarding your muse. She has a job to do and is designed to perform to optimum standards. Do not allow your muse to be lazy. Refuse to put away your camera and do not let her rest until you’re completely satisfied with her inspirational performance. Shoot every day, several times if necessary. Try for at least three new ideas every day. She is surprisingly resilient, and will supply an infinite stream of ideas under your able guidance. Setting boundaries like this will ensure you stick to your aims and after only one week you will have several hundred new photographs which you should be very happy with.

WHAT DO I GET WHEN I ORDER?

The end result is guaranteed satisfaction, OR YOUR MONEY BACK!
Your Art WILL IMPROVE DRAMATICALLY, even after this short time.

Your muse is ready and waiting FOR YOU!!!

ORDER NOW!!!

Product Warranty Disclaimer:
The Muse and accompanying materials (including instructions for use and manuals and CD Roms, if any) are provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. All terms implied by law, including without limitation as to satisfactory quality and fitness for purpose, which may by law be excluded or limited and liability in tort including without limitation for negligence and misrepresentation, are hereby excluded. No oral or written advice given by the Manufacturer shall create a warranty or be otherwise actionable and the photographer may not rely on any such information or advice. If the Muse is defective, the Manufacturer will not be responsible for any or all costs of necessary servicing, repair or correction. Because of the high stress of the artistic process, the Manufacturer recommends that you pace your relationship with your muse over time, and treat her kindly and considerately. Otherwise you run the risk of burning out her motor, and she’ll leave you pretty damn fast.

Trust Fluffytek for all your muse needs!

I’ve tried other firms such as KF&S LLC (Kink, Freak, and Swinger), and have found that the products were not only of inferior quality, they tended to have a short shelf life, turning surly in no time, and even tried to adjust my art to fit their needs and limitations of ability!

For us here in the U.S., Fluffytek Mfg partners with reliable firms, providing the same high quality, without all the shipping costs…

I’m sold on Fluffytek!

are your muses (mise?) homegrown or are they, for instance, provided by some Russian bride service?

btw, when I lived in the UK--many years ago--I don't remember anyone using teabags. in fact, when i mentioned teabags i was mocked and ridiculed. (as the eeeenglish are wont to do re many things american.) anyway, it was always loose tea in a teapot. things change, i guess.

Oooh...Russian brides. Now there's a good business idea..." Homegrown Genuine English Fluffies"...like it!!! What's your commission?!

96% of all cups of tea drunk daily in the UK are brewed from tea bags nowadays! I do brew some real tea (Earl Grey of course) when we have posh visitors, so should you ever decide to grace our doorstep, I promise to brew you up some of the real stuff...

Great blog entry.....I laughed my ass off!! I should be a consultant on the creation of muse's....so where do I send my application?...

I feel I am an expert on working with a muse, as I have had the same muse for almost 30 years, photographing her for around 25 years now....so please......anyone with more experience in that area please chime in. Thus said..I feel very strongly about the artist/muse relationship. It is one that the artist can easily abuse...but always backfires on the artist in the end. One could say in fact that we all deserve what we get (see your blog on "choice" from a few days ago).

Webster says Muse: : a source of inspiration; especially : a guiding genius.

I have been ultra fortunate to have found the perfect muse for my photographic art. Period....no better way to put it.

And as a Webster defines muse as a "Guiding genius"....my muse definitely fits that role, and what "a source of inspiration" she is......WOW!!!. I have been fortunate to have this muse as my "guiding genius". I recognize my good fortune in this respect and do not take it for granted, as history has shown and continues to show the creative artistic decline in those who have lost their "Guiding Genius" and "Source of Inspiration".

Life's been good to me so far!!..and the majority of credit goes to my lovely muse.

Again..a great blog entry...thanks for sharing.

Lin - I consider myself one very happy muse, having had the opportunity to muse with Jim Young for almost a year and a half now (and more planned). It is fantastic knowing that we only just scratched the surface artistically - and my best work is resulting from our collaborations - and still getting better, I think. I guess that's what musedom is all about: a model and photographer who are on the same page, and who both equally want to explore photographic boundaries within the context of mutual trust and respect. I would highly recommend this type of model-photographer relationship to any model/photographer out there. This can't be bought on ebay, this can't be forced or demanded. It's a two-way street. And it's wonderful when you finally find it in its purest of forms.

bt, and Mrs bt, eloquent as always! And you two are definitely the authority on good musedom, and there's so much friendship and devotion between you both, it's wonderful :-)

After 25 years, I can only hope I will be as good a muse to Rich !

Incidentally, this post was done as a response to a photographer on MM and another on a UK forum a little while ago, who were both advertising for a muse. Can you believe it? As Iris says, they can't be bought....

Although I am definitely sensing a market niche for Muse consultants and their Russian muses to order :-)

Hmmm... perhaps I stand alone in this one, but I tend to shy away from photographers looking for "muses". As BT said, he has been fortunate enough to have the best of ones for him, for nearly 30 years now. But I personally see that as a collaboration of partners (also life partners, which is a true gift!).
And as Iris said, as well as you, that connection between artists cannot be bought, created, or forced. In the sense Iris speaks of, I can understand being inspired by a photographer and a photographer being inspired by a muse, but the definition of "guiding genious" bothers me a bit. I hope to inspire all those I work with, as well as BE inspired... but I look to no one for a "guide" or "genious". That's WAY too much pressure for me, and I just look for a friend, working partner, and someone who can push me forward artistically.
As for muse, I only think of fairy wings and pixie dust, personally. And I've said as much to photographers in the past. Lets inspire each other, but lets not put one above the other when it comes to the creation of the art. I am no more, or less, important then the photographer, and without both, NOTHING would be created.
Perhaps my view is simply a different definition of "muse"... or makes no sense at all. Just my thoughts... whatever they are or are not worth!

And, as always, THANK YOU for giving me such a WONDERFUL laugh! Please do continue!!! :)

Lela is absolutely dead on correct on her points (and I love hearing others views). But I think one has to experience the Muse/Artist relationship to understand and appreciate its strengths fully.

I draw incredible inspiration from all of the models that I work with, but I give Mrs. BT the majority of the credit for being the main source of my inspiration. Webster defines muse as a "source of inspiration" and "guiding genius". I understand completely what they are referring to...as for me....and the best way to explain my take on it is ...(as I am only an expert with my life and my experiences), ......Mrs. BT is MY "source of inspiration", and THAT source of inspiration serves as MY "guiding genius". Our 2 way collaboration in this regard continually fuels each others ongoing "sources of inspiration", and we tap off of AND re-inspire each other endlessly ....and this is 100% perpetual in nature. Again, once you experience this..you understand if fully. I believe that there is no greater artistic collaboration than the true muse/artist relationship. But I don't believe that you have to be life partners to experience this, that is just the way it has worked out for us, and I know I that we are very fortunate in this regard.

As humans, we know that no relationship, muse or otherwise, can exist uni-laterally...as it has to be bi-lateral to be a success..an equal 50/50 split if you will. Anything less is a dictatorship, and destined for eventual failure. From my experience (again, this is what I base my opinion on), my muse/artist relationship is perfect (if you can accept a husband/wife=muse/artist relationship as being a true one-ness, and not separate entities). In this aspect, the Guiding Genius is a 50/50 collaboration based on a shared source of ongoing inspiration.

Geez..I'm starting to sound like a freaking artist...shoot me and put my out of MY misery if I get too artsy fartsy...;-).

I just want to create erotic photos.

Of course, being married practically forever to my dearest friend means that I'm going to agree with bt (although he puts it more eloquently than me).

Rich and I are pretty inseparable most of the time (I know, I know. This is not cool). We'd talk about photography all day every day if we could. We bounce views off each other, talk about potential ideas for a shoot, vehemently disagree more often than not, but the discussions go on, long into the night, every night. Sleeping is for wimps when there is photography to discuss!

And I set Rich photographic challenges, poor chap (Rich you have at least 2 left this year!), I push him. I am his staunchest ally and his strongest critic. And he is to me. Life is always interesting and stimulating, and I can't imagine we will ever get bored.

I'm pretty sure Mrs bt and I have a lot in common :-)

Lin,

I would bet the bank that you and Mrs. Bt would get along great. I'm not sure if your aware that she is European (Born in Berlin, traveled to the states with her mother at the Age of 2..(speaking only Baby German words) and ultimately became an American Citizen when she was 16 years old (we met on Aug 15th 1978 in Highschool, she was 14 (and still a German Citizen) and I was 17..and we have been together every since)). Although she was raised in the US for the most part....her mindset is all European. I seem to gravitate to European Women. One of our best friends (Iris) also is European.

Again..great blog...and I can't wait to see what you post about next.

regards
BT
